Ok, so here's some pics from comic-con, which was absolutely awesome. I am definitely planning on going back next year, although I will not be staying at the same crap hotel out in the middle of nowhere. I think that Lyndsey and I are going to make comics and t-shirts and be exhibitors next year though. I met some really awesome people, such as Chris Sanders, Louie Del Carmen, Doug TenNapel, and David Colman. I went to panel discussions on pitching an animated series, Kung Fu movies, and on Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. I saw lots of storm troopers, including Elvis. Spiderman was seen texting and making important calls. I think everyone needs to go to comic-con at least once in their life if they are interested in anything related to comics, film, animation, video games, toys, etc. It's grrrrrrrreat!

Comic-con

I am so excited right now. I am completely exhausted from working three double shifts in a row, but it's all for a good cause. I am going to Comic-con. It might change my life. I really think that in the future, post-Comic-con, I will have to refer to all my life experiences on a scale of 1-10, 1 being lame and 10 being COMIC-CON!! The best part about it is its a two fold experience, I am going to try and get some folks to see my portfolio and do some networking, AND I get to laugh at the people in costumes. Oh snap, there's a third part. I get to check out cool art and film stuff and maybe buy some more books. Oh man.... I am not sure if my heart will hold out for the entire time. The masquerade show with all the extreme hardcore fans? PLEASE. I am going to have to wear adult diapers. I need to go to bed now, but trust me, I will be dreaming of one of two things; a) Comic-con b) That I am on a capsizing boat looking for the emergency escape hatch and people are asking me for tabasco.

I have gotten bored

For the past couple of weeks, I have been taking a vacation, mostly from me. My official vacation began on the 3rd, after I shipped my portfolio off to an interested studio. I felt I needed some time to not have any pressure to do anything since graduating and going through all the portfolio preperation and the stress involved with that. I thought two weeks would be good, and I have been having to remind myself not to feel guilty, stressed, or inadequate in this time period. Now it has not even been two weeks, and I am getting antsy. SO, it looks like I shall now return to the portfolio and creating and all that jazz. I am too bored without any pressure or stress and I need something to do. I think the time off was good though, and maybe I should do it more often, but in smaller quantities.

i just finished an animal drawing class, we got rained out of nearly every zoo or other place with animals that you could possibly think of. it was fun though. i like these drawings, so i am putting them on here.

thar ye go. the third and final sister in the story. they are a fun looking bunch, aren't they? once again, here are the others... so you can see them all together even... i had fun with these guys, as if you can't tell.

i am pretty happy with the way she came out. seriously, i mean compare her to the kid version, and you'll see what i mean, she looks just like a 16 or 17 year old version of the little girl, right? hell yeah. now i am getting somewhere.

i think i like it, but i need to get the little girl done as well, and i have her penciled out, but i need to ink and color it and its getting late and i am tired and coffee is making me sick to my stomach lately. so it might not get done tonight.

i finally got the prince to post, i am not really sure why, but for the longest time i kept trying to post him and he was coming out in these really bizzarro colors. like teal and purple and stuff. the positive thing about that is i could tell that my color values were all good becuase the crazy colors still worked. anyway, here he is. hopefully by the end of this week i will have some more stuff to put up on here, like the adult versions of both the prince and the little girl.
